Just love the stage this busy guy is in, despite how exhausted I feel at the end of the day. His dancing blue eyes and rosy tongue, just add to his cuteness. Never mind the fact I cut off his fingers in this pic :P Keep telling myself to step back...with toddlers you must click quick, or at least that is my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!
Sister secrets! What could be sweeter? These two spend the days, giggling and making messes, but I just love watching them grow and know that they will always be best friends.
My little girl is growing up before my eyes, becoming a beautiful lady. She is so full of mercy and grace....she's also spunky and sassy, keeping me on my toes. My prayer is that her life will radiate the warmth and light of the Father's love to all who meet her.
An afternoon rain shower, provided an excellent photo opportunity. You can see more here. I think this is my favorite from the day, it speaks, sweetness, innocence and peace to me.
Lastly, I took this photo and these after taking this session by Emma Wood through Click In Moms. It was worth every penny! It helped me to develop my ability to see light and to process my black and white images. I used to be in love with color, but since taking this session I have come to LOVE and APPRECIATE B&W in a new way. I love this photo because it draws me in and leaves me wandering through a sunlit meadow.
I love the picture of the girls whispering secrets. What a great moment to catch!
ReplyDeletelove the secrets and umbrella pictures. Love all the black and white too!
ReplyDeletewow! such beautiful photos! i just LOVE that second shot! you capture those two girls whispering beautifully!!
ReplyDeleteWith seven kids I would imagine you had a lot of pictures to choose from. I really enjoyed the shots you chose. I have always loved black and white photography. It sets a mood that color can not always achieve.
ReplyDeleteGreat set! I understand the picking and choosing! These are all wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet set and gorgeous processing - I love the secret shot!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love them all, but the 2nd is especially stunning. I also love the B&W conversion on the last one--it somehow preserves the warmth of the sun in a really cool way.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely choices. I just really love the light and delicacy of the third photo.
ReplyDeleteWe'll make an exception for you. Having 7 children gives you the pass to post 7 photos :)
I love your black and white photos!!

ReplyDeleteThese are all just gorgeous! I can practically feel the warm breath of that sister secret in my ear. :-)
